Who I am.
A Hudson Valley wedding and elopement photographer, encouraging couples to follow their hearts since 2011.
I hold a special place in my heart for intimate weddings, destination weddings, elopements, and anything in nature (especially in the Hudson Valley).
I thrive off of positive energy and always promise to bring my own. For each couple I work with, I create a detailed photography timeline, and posed list (for family shots) to ensure a smooth, relaxed, organized, and absolutely magical day.

Choosing your photographer.
On your wedding day, while I am capturing everything in the present moment, I will also be thinking about your future. Wedding photographs are forever and I am documenting your legacy for your grandchildren, great grandchildren, and anyone who comes next in your family tree to look back upon in the future. Your choice of photographer is so important in the grand scheme of things, and an investment in your visual legacy.
Here are some tips in choosing the best photographer for you :
Research
Make sure you love the pictures themselves, not just what’s in them (like the dress, florals, or background).
Connection
You should feel comfortable speaking with your photographer, and things should feel natural. If you don’t feel a connection with a photographer, they may not be the right choice for you.
Budget
There is a perfect photographer for every wedding. Find the right balance between your budget and your vision.
Trust Your Gut
I say this time and time again : your photographer will be with you more than any other professional on your wedding day. Your intuition will guide you in the right direction.
Do not lose track of what this day is about
It is not only the day you get married, but the first day of your marriage. You will have many people telling you how things should be done, but stay true to yourselves. Elope at a waterfall or on top of a mountain. Host an intimate wedding in a garden. Throw a giant party in a field. Do whatever makes your hearts sing.

Things You Should Know
Style
I consider myself a curated documentary photographer. I like to take you on an adventure and as you are exploring the earth and each other, I document the moments in between. I know when to let things unfold, and when to step in and direct.
Booking
After we meet over Zoom, together we sign a contract and a retainer of 1/3 of your total package price is due to reserve your date. This is all done electronically. I typically book 12-20 months in advance.
My Role
I arrive when scheduled, help the day flow, capture candid moments, organize and pose family & wedding party photographs, and document the day as it unfolds. Feel confident and comfortable knowing that I am here for you.
Timeline
Every package is different, but about 1-2 months before your wedding, I will send out an online questionnaire requesting information about locations, times, the posed family + wedding party photographs you desire, and other various details to help organize the photography timeline.
Details
Logistics matter. It’s ideal when getting ready, the ceremony, and the party are all in the same vicinity. Keep in mind the size of your wedding party and the natural lighting in your getting ready location, as space and light are so important to beautifully capture these early moments.
Image + Print Delivery
I typically send a sneak peek of 10-20 images within 48 hours of your wedding day, and then provide your full online gallery within 4-6 weeks. If you have prints and/or an album included in your package, you then make your photo choices for your tangibles.
Travel
I am based in Poughkeepsie, NY but travel worldwide.
Insurance
Don’t worry. My business is fully insured and I have the liability insurance required by most venues.
