Marygrace and Kyle’s Wedding at The Roundhouse in Beacon, NY
A Love That Walked Through Time: A Summer Wedding at The Roundhouse
Some love stories don’t just begin—they unfold over years, growing stronger with time. This was one of those stories. High school sweethearts, side by side since their teenage years, finally stepping into forever together. Their wedding day in Beacon, NY, was effortlessly elegant, deeply personal, and brimming with that rare kind of love that feels both nostalgic and brand new all at once.
The bride, a natural beauty, chose simplicity with a minimalist strapless drop-waist dress—timeless, effortless, and so very her from Reformation. With natural makeup and a sleek, slicked-back bun, she looked like she had stepped straight out of an editorial, yet there was nothing forced about it. The groom, equally classic, wore a black suit from The Black Tux with that easy kind of confidence that comes from knowing he had found his person years ago.
Before the day truly began, they met for a first look—just the two of them, stealing a quiet moment in the whirlwind. It was the kind of moment where time slows, where eyes glisten, where the weight of years together leads up to this single, breathtaking pause before they step into their next chapter. Soon after joined by the bride’s mother and the maid of honor for quiet and intimate hugs. You could feel the joy emenate from everyone present, especially their closest loved ones. Shortly after we left for their effortlessly gorgeous wedding portraits on the streets of Beacon, NY.
From there, they exchanged vows in a beautiful church ceremony, a space filled with love, reverence, and the quiet hum of anticipation. But it was what came next that made their day uniquely theirs. Instead of whisking guests away in cars or buses, they led the way themselves, walking hand in hand down the charming streets of Beacon, their loved ones following in joyful procession toward The Roundhouse.
Cocktail hour at The Roundhouse was warm and inviting, with drinks in hand and conversation flowing as easily as the nearby waterfall. When guests stepped into the reception space, they were met with understated beauty—white florals by Essex Street Flowers, flickering candlelight, and delicate paper doves at their place settings, a quiet nod to love’s ability to take flight.
But the real magic of the evening? The people. Their most cherished friends and family filled the room with energy, with stories, with the kind of unfiltered joy that makes a wedding unforgettable. The night unfolded in a blur of dancing, heartfelt toasts, and moments that no camera could fully capture—but ones that will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who was there.
This wasn’t just a wedding. It was a love story that had already stood the test of time, and on this summer night in Beacon, it simply stepped into its next chapter—hand in hand, just as it always had.

How you met
We met in high school, we stayed together through college in different states and Kyle’s first job in Connecticut. Finally he moved to the city were we live now.

How you got engaged
We went to our favorite little Italian restaurant in our neighborhood for dinner. I had a long week and was in a little sports dress with sneakers 🫠. They brought out tiramisu ( my favorite dessert) with the ring on top. The restaurant is super Italian - so the server mis-understood Kyle’s request and they brought the dessert out flickering the lights singing happy birthday.

-How you decided to get married at The Roundhouse, how you decided on your wedding size, wedding party size, and any other wedding planning/vendor decisions you hope to share
We wanted everyone there to be super important to us so we kept the list tight. We had our siblings and a few friends in our wedding party (all that are from high school).
We picked you to be our photographer because during our meeting with you, your dogs were barking and you spilled your coffee and we said she’s the one for us! We were just talking with my maid of honor last night about how you and Laurel really vanished into the crowd and captured so many fun Candids of everyone there.

Your favorite memories from the day
Both my grandparents were able to be there, Kyle had his grandma there too. It was so important to us to have them there with us.
Since we grew up together, we had such a close group of people who knew Kyle and I both well.
